Manut Instruksi Megawati, Bupati Tapanuli Tengah Tunda Participating Retret Kepala Daerah Di Magelang

Masinton stated that he complied with the instructions of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri who asked PDIP cadres to postpone participation in the regional head's retreat after PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"Meanwhile, I postponed my departure to Magelang until there was further direction from Mrs. Megawati," Masinton told reporters, Friday, February 21.

Apart from Masinton, as many as 125 regional heads and deputy regional heads who are PDIP cadres will also cancel participating in the event initiated by President Prabowo Subianto.

Including the Governor of Jakarta Pramono Anung and the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster. Both of them also postponed participating in the retret of regional heads which will last until February 28, 2025.

Previously, the General Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri ordered the head and deputy regional head of her party not to participate in retret activities in Magelang on February 21-28. Megawati's order was conveyed through a letter numbered 7294/IN/DPP/II/2025 issued today, Thursday, February 20 or after PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was detained by the KPK. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia asked the regional head from his party to postpone participating in the retreat.

"It was instructed to all regional heads and deputy regional heads of the PDI-P as follows: regional heads and deputy regional heads to postpone travel that will take part in the retret in Magelang on February 21-28," Megawati wrote in a letter obtained from a source on Thursday evening, February 21.

Megawati ordered them to wait for further directions from him if they had traveled.

"If you have been on your way to Magelang City to stop and wait for further directions from the general chairman," he said.

Tak hanya itu, Megawati juga minta para kepala daerah tetap berkomunikasi aktif dan bersiaga menunggu perintah lanjutan. Instruksi ini dikeluarkan Megawati yang mencermati dinamika politik nasional setelah Hasto ditahan.
