Austria Arrests 14-Year-Old Boy Suspected Of Planting An Attack On Westbahnhof Train Station

JAKARTA - Austria arrested a 14-year-old child on February 10 on suspicion of planning a militant attack on the Westbahnhof train station in Vienna.

Authorities found items at his home showing the perpetrators supporting ISIS, Austrian news agency APA reported on Wednesday, February 19.

The report follows a knife attack in the southern city of Villach on Saturday.

At that time, a 23-year-old Syrian refugee was suspected of killing a teenager and injuring five people.

The man quickly became radical after watching militant videos on social media, Austrian authorities said.
