10 Suspects Of Destroying The 2024 Pilkada TPS In The Sungai Penuh Jambi Immediately Sit In The Chair Of The Prisoners

JAMBI - The police handed over one suspect in the destruction of the Sungai Penuh City polling station (TPS) to the Jambi District Attorney.

The Head of Sub-Division of Penmas at the Jambi Police, Kompol Amin Nasution, said that one suspect who was transferred to the Sungai Penuh Kejari was Winaldi.

Amin said that currently there are 10 suspects who have been transferred to the prosecutor's office for the case of destroying polling stations in Sungai Penuh City in November 2024.

"A total of 10 suspects have been transferred," said Amin in Jambi, Thursday, February 13, as reported by Antara.

The money suspects who have been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office are Dedi Kurniawan, Yohanda Putra, Heri Gusman, Edi King, Ronaldo Sumantri, Alwan Ifandri, Iwan Purnadi.

Then the next suspects are Eka Gunawan and Joni Holiman. The other nine suspects were first transferred to the prosecutor's office in January 2025.

Amin said the suspects would soon sit in the chair of the prisoner. The suspects are waiting for the trial schedule from the Sungai Penuh Court.

The case of the destruction of TPS in Sungai Penuh City involved 15 people who were named suspects by the Jambi Regional Police.

The suspect in the destruction of the TPS during the 2024 Pilkada in Sungai Penuh with the initials HH surrendered for the first time to the police, followed by the arrest of other suspects.

The suspects admitted that the motive for destroying the TPS was for a re-voting (PSU).

TPS which was damaged during the 2024 Pilkada, namely TPS 02 in Renah Kayu Embun Village, Kumun Debai, TPS 01 Koto Limau Manis Village, TPS 01 Dujung Sakti Village, TPS 01 Permai Indah Village and TPS 02 Koto Duo Village.
