There Are Unhonest Managers, PAM Jaya Wants To Take Over Clean Water Services In Apartments
JAKARTA - Director of Perumda PAM Jaya Service Syahrul Hasan said that his party plans to take over the management of clean water services in apartments in Jakarta.
"Currently we are initiating so that currently PAM Jaya subscribes directly to P3SRS, we want to direct to unit owners. So what? So that later the service can be done directly," Syahrul told reporters, Thursday, February 13.
So far, the management of services to collection of water rates in apartments has been carried out by the association of owners and residents of the flat unit (P3SRS).
"PAM Jaya subscribes to the manager so that we call the meter unit a large meter that we know is in the GWT it is PAM Jaya water," said Syahrul.
The plan to take over the management of clean water directly at apartment units was revealed by Syahrul on the basis of the findings of dishonest P3SRS personnel. They still use groundwater but also increase water rates similar to PAM Jaya's service this year.
Meanwhile, PAM Jaya often gets complaints from apartment residents because the water in her unit is sometimes cloudy and smells.
"The problem may sometimes be in the internal network of the apartment, but the one who is complained about is PAM Jaya," he said.
PAM Jaya, continued Syahrul, could not immediately check the water meter in apartment units because it was under the control of P3SRS. So, PAM Jaya will propose to manage clean water in apartments directly.
"If not mistaken, the number of flats or apartments in Jakarta is 200. Well, that's what we are now pushing so that we want to be servants directly to the units in Jakarta," said Syahrul.
Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ima Mahdiah, admitted that he received reports from many apartment managers in Jakarta who took ground water but charged residents according to the new piped water tariff managed by PAM Jaya.
"It turns out that a lot of apartment PPRS and so on half took PAM and half took ground water. But they used tariffs from PAM. This should have been put in order first," Ima told reporters, Friday, February 7.
