The Remaining Budget Of IDR 341 Billion After Efficiency, Minister Of KP2MI Guarantees Migrant Worker Affairs To Remain Safe
JAKARTA - Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI) Abdul Kadir Karding guarantees that matters related to Indonesian migrant workers remain safe. Although, institutions affected by efficiency until the 2025 KP2MI budget remaining Rp341 billion.
"We from Rp494 billion, only Rp341 billion. I make sure that services are still running, personnel spending is safe, operations are safe, indeed we have a little savings scheme. (But) We still secure PMI, it must be safe," said Karding, Wednesday, February 12.
The efficiency in KP2MI targets more operational spending. "Indeed, in office operational spending, the support of the leadership is that nature," said Karding.
Nevertheless, Karding ensured that KP2MI would continue to optimize services and not reduce employee spending. He is optimistic that his institution can carry out efficiency properly according to the President's direction.
"Optimistic. We must continue to provide optimal services, we must not stop, both personnel expenditures are met and office operations are running well," said the PKB politician.

Regarding the additional budget request submitted to Commission IX of the DPR some time ago, Karding said the proposal was if there was a change. Meanwhile, KP2MI uses the existing budget and participates in efficiency.
"That was yesterday, which was Rp. 1.3 trillion, later if there was a change. If this one is still the existing scheme," he concluded.
