SUKABUMI - A fisherman from Surade District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java who was swimming using a car tire to a dangjodang or illegal place to find the body of a man in a striped loreng TNI floating on Minajaya Beach, Tuesday.
"The unidentified man's body is suspected to be a victim of a marine accident from another area whose body was carried away by the current or sea waves to Minajaya Beach, Pasiripis Village, Surade District," said Head of Water and Air Police (Polairud) Sukabumi Police," said AKP Tenda Sukendar as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 11.
The body of the man wearing a TNI striped shirt was first discovered by local fishermen named Junaedi (40) and Gumilar (32) who were about to pay attention and check their fish catch.
Suddenly the witness saw a body floating above sea level.
Out of curiosity, the two then approached and it was true, the suspicious object was the body of a man whose condition had swollen.
The fisherman then reported his discovery to residents and not long ago officers from Koramil 2214/Surade, Surade Police, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Police (KKP) and the District Disaster Management Officer P2BK Surade arrived at the location.
Then the joint officers assisted by local fishermen evacuated the man's body by boat to the beach and were taken to the Jampangkulon Hospital.
According to Tenda, it is estimated that the body is between 40-50 years old and fat, has mature sawo skin and has sharp hair and wears a short-sleeved TNI striped shirt. Until now, the victim's body is still at the Jampangkulon Hospital.
It is possible that the body did not come from the Sukabumi area, because in the last few days there have been no reports from residents or tourists who feel they have lost relatives or colleagues due to drowning in the sea.
