Regarding Budget Efficiency, Deputy Minister Tiko: No Problem
Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo said that budget efficiency did not have a significant impact on his ministry.
Tiko, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo's nickname, said that as a ministry that is included in the small category, ministry operations are not affected by budget efficiency which is currently being boosted by the government.
"For SOEs, ministries are small in this context. So for us there is no problem," he told reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 11.
According to Tiko, before it was crowded with budget efficiency by the government, the Ministry of SOEs had indeed done this as part of the transformation of SOEs.
"We are in the process of also doing automation, yes, increasing productivity with the IT system and everything," he explained.
For example, said Tiko, in terms of compiling consolidated SOE financial reports, it can now be done online or online. That way, productivity can be increased in line with this efficiency.
"Sebagai contoh laporan keuangan BUMN sekarang kan yang konsolidasi kan sudah (bisa dicek secara online, sudah bisa dibuat. Jadi memang kita sedang proses produktivitasnya kita meningkatkan dan efeksi juga. Jadi buat kita enggak ada masalah," tuturnya.
Previously, it was reported that the lighting at the BUMN Ministry's office had decreased drastically. A number of lights on the ground floor of the office were not turned on, thus making room lighting dim.
In fact, the cooling of the room on the ground floor to the Ar-Rayyan Mosque of the Ministry of SOEs is now not too cool. Based on the information received, sports facilities in the ministry's office are no longer operating.
In response to this, Erick Thohir actually denied this condition as a form of budget cuts. According to him, this is part of carbon efficiency.

"This is a reduction, efficiency rather than carbon absorption. So that carbon is efficient. We want to try this glass in front if we can replace solar panels," said Erick at the BUMN Ministry office, Jakarta, Monday, February 10.
In addition, Erick also did not confirm how much the ministry budget was cut. He said there had been no decision regarding budget cuts.
Based on the data circulating, the SOE Ministry's budget was cut to Rp123 billion. The budget obtained by the ministry this year is Rp277.46 billion. Because of the cuts, now it is only around Rp153 billion.
"I can't comment on the budget because it hasn't broken yet, it hasn't broken," said Erick.
