Kick Off Free Health Check, Minister Of Health Review Manukan Kulon Surabaya Health Center

SURABAYA - Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin directly inspected the kick off of the free health check service (CKG) at the Manukan Kulon Health Center, Tandes District, Surabaya, Monday 10 February.

Accompanied by a number of officials from the Surabaya City Government and the East Java Provincial Government, Minister of Health Budi checked the readiness of facilities and services at the puskesmas. He also interacted with elderly patients who took part in the free health check program.

One of the residents, Suparti (69), admitted that he was happy to be able to take this free health check even though he could not register himself through the One Sehat application.

"I'm glad there is a free health check. I asked my son to register. My birthday is February 2, so I'm coming," said Suparti.

This free health check program is expected to increase public awareness of preventing disease and preventive health, especially for the elderly and vulnerable groups.

With the free health check service, it is easier for people to access health checks at no cost, as well as encourage the use of digital-based health services through the One Sehat application.
