Free Health Checks Starting Today, Here Are The Sign-up Steps And Conditions

JAKARTA - The Indonesian government has launched a Free Health Check (CKG) program for people who have birthdays. This program officially started today, Monday, February 10, 2025.

Free health check programs are available at puskesmas and clinics in collaboration with BPJS Kesehatan. The government ensures that the inspection is carried out in stages based on the age category, in order to get more accurate results.

For those who want to use free health check services, there are several things that you have to prepare. Here are the steps for registering and the conditions that can be seen, quoted from the website of the Indonesian Ministry of Health.

To use a free health check service, Indonesians must register with BPJS Health members, if they don't have it before. For those who already have BPJS Kesehatan, make sure your card is still active.

Indonesian people need to download and register in the ONESEHAT Mobile application, to get information about the inspection schedule and access health screening questionnaires. The selection of inspection dates is also carried out in the application, or through the BPJS Health Chatbot WhatsApp service.

After the schedule is determined, participants will receive a reminder message via WhatsApp some time before their birthday. Starting from 30 days before birthday, 7 days before birthday, 1 day before birthday, to birthday.

Seven days before the birthday, participants will get a health screening questionnaire that must be filled through ONESEHAT Mobile. This questionnaire is useful for helping medical personnel carry out examinations of participants later.

After filling out the questionnaire, participants will get a free health check ticket, which appears in the ONESEHAT Mobile application. This ticket must be shown during the inspection.

On the day of the examination, participants can visit health facilities in collaboration with BPJS, which have been chosen previously. When going to the participant's health facility, they must bring several documents, such as KTP, KIA, or Family Card as their identity, Mother and Child Health Book (KIA) for toddlers and preschool children, inspection tickets, and questionnaire results.

To use this free health check service, participants do not have to come to health facilities on their birthdays. The government provides a time limit of up to 30 days after the birthday to carry out an examination.
