Budget Efficiency Does Not Affect The Infrastructure Project Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung ensured that the 2025 budget efficiency instructed by President Prabowo Subianto had no effect on the development of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources infrastructure project.

"It has no effect," said Yuliot to the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Friday, February 7.

Yuliot explained that the budget carried out by efficiency is a budget for Ministry/Institutional expenditures (K/L), for that the budget for infrastructure spending does not occur in savings.

Yuliot continued, the budget for infrastructure will also use funds sourced from the Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of the ESDM Sector.

"This is from the PNBP, the plan is. Some of it can be used for infrastructure development," explained Yuliot.

Previously, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, admitted that he supports Prabowo's instructions for efficiency in the K/L budget of IDR 256.1 trillion in 2025.

"For us, what the budget adjustment has done is a good thing, to ensure programs that are a priority scale. Regarding the reduction from ESDM, this ESDM always obeys what is decided by the President. So it's clear, there are no problems," Bahlil explained.
