Hasto's Pretrial Session, Former Bawaslu Member Ngaku Offered IDR 2 Billion To Change Testimony

JAKARTA - A former member of the Bawaslu of the Republic of Indonesia, Agustiani Tio Fridelina, said that she had been offered Rp2 billion in order to change her statement as stated in the Investigation Report (BAP) of the alleged bribery and interim replacement investigation (PAW) of the DPR RI with the suspect PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.

He made this statement when he was a witness at the trial of Hasto Kristiyanto's pretrial lawsuit which was held at the South Jakarta District Court, Friday, February 7.

The confession began when Agustiani explained about the request for postponement of examinations to KPK investigators. At that time, the former Bawaslu member was scheduled to provide information around December 2024.

"When there was a letter (December 2024 call) then I postponed asking for January 6 (2025)," said Agustiani.

After that, Agustiani felt strange. Because, there was someone who did not know him and asked to meet to talk about something.

"When he met him then said he asked me to talk about the truth, to speak honestly, but then there was the lure that he said, was, 'Wait for calm for Mrs. Tio's economy, we know how long Mrs. Tio was yesterday," he said.

At that time, Agustiani rejected the offer on the grounds that everything she had conveyed was a fact.

"So, the money is to improve Bu Tio's economy but it doesn't just stop at that money, that what, the economy is basically back to how it used to be, the story is Your Honor. But I answered at that time, sorry, because it was a man, I called him mas at that time, 'I'm sorry, my brother has told the truth and the truth. I'm just waiting to see if the KPK calls me later when I meet you, if I know I will definitely answer honestly. I will definitely answer the truth'. So I said so the transaction never happened," said Agustiani.

At the meeting, Agustiani said that the unknown person did not directly ask him to change the BAP. However, he asked him to give an answer by adjusting the questions asked by investigators during the examination.

"He said that he was the one who was honest, right. Meanwhile, according to the testimony of the witness, speaking, what is honest is the facts at the trial that have been submitted at the trial. What kind of thing was requested? Does it mean that you have to change the statement in the BAP? Or for example, say, 'Just admit the money from the one and the one', for example. Can you explain?" asked Hasto's attorney.

"No, it's not exactly like that. Just saying, 'please Mrs. Tio speak the truth, please, Mrs. Tio talk the truth'," said Agustiani Tio Fridelina.

"But in the quote, the message is adjusted to what was asked later. My assumption at that time was that I would ask me," he added.

Hearing this statement, one of Hasto Kristiyanto's legal team then questioned the nominal amount of money offered by the person. Agustiani also replied that if he had been offered Rp2 billion.

"Can you know how much money?" asked Hasto's attorney.

"Around Rp. 2 billion," said Agustiani.
