Message From Commission X Of The DPR To Students Can't Register For SNBP: Don't Break Asa, There's Still A Test Path To Continue Lecture
Deputy Chairman of Commission X DPR My Esti Wijayati gave a special message to students who could not register for the 2025 National Selection Based on Achievements (SNBP) because the school failed to finalize the School and Student Database (PDSS).
Esti advised the students not to give up because there is still a test route to continue their studies at the university.
Esti said, actually the government has provided opportunities for more than 300 schools to re-complement PDSS. It's just that until the specified time, as many as 100 schools have not finalized.
"Of course, because the school has been reminded through the information provided from the Ministry of Education and Culture, we cannot blame the central government that there is negligence that we do not know why," said Esti at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Friday, February 7.
"Then, because there has been an extension, we can no longer do an extension. This is an evaluation for us," he continued.
As is known, the PDSS filling process is scheduled to take place from January 6 to January 31, 2025. During that period, schools can complete PDSS data to finalize.
However, until that time limit, there are hundreds of schools that have not completed the PDSS filling process so that students cannot register for the 2025 SNBP. This then sparked protests from many students in several cities in Indonesia.
"If it's still possible, let's open again, maybe not, if it's impossible, then the opportunities for children are not impossible to go to college, this can't be just an achievement path but can still go to college through other channels, a regular test that can be done by our children," said Esti.
"The point is don't give up on children, there is still a test route to be able to continue studying," he concluded.
