Police Asked To Give Certainty Regarding Ari Bias' Report To Agnez Mo At The Criminal Investigation Unit Of The Police

JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Commercial Court has granted Ari Bias' lawsuit against Agnez Mo, but there are still reports at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit that have no clarity so far.

As is known, Minola Sebayang as Ari Bias' attorney has submitted a police report against Agnez Mo to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police on June 19, 2024.

The report is a follow-up to the summons previously sent by Ari Bias but did not receive Agnez Mo's response.

With the court's decision to grant Ari's lawsuit - where Agnez Mo was declared to have committed copyright infringement and had to pay a loss fine of Rp. 1.5 billion Minola said his party had submitted the decision to the investigators.

"(The report from Ari Bias at Bareskrim Polri) is being processed," said Minola in Tendean, South Jakarta, Wednesday, February 5.

"We have told investigators that there is a decision that has stated that Agnez Mo was punished for using a song without permission," he continued.

Minola ensured that investigators already knew the verdict for his client's civil case. He also hopes that investigators can provide certainty for Ari Bias' report.

"So we have information, so that investigators can be even more certain in the legal process, in the case, to determine who the suspect is, and whether there is a violation of the law," said Minola.

"So it's being processed again, but we'll just have to wait and see what the momentum is," he added.

On the same occasion, Ari Bias also revealed that his party had not received communication from Agnez Mo, even after the decision had been issued.

"Until today, we have not received communication with Agnez, because maybe they also still have time to decide whether they agree and then carry out their obligations, or they still want to fight for it at the cassation level," said Ari.

"If they really want to fight for it in the cassation level, it means that the fight is still not over, it is still at the level of the Supreme Court. We'll just have to wait," he concluded.
