Earning IDR 55.8 Trillion Profit, Bank Mandiri Leaks Dividend
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) gave a leak regarding the amount of dividends to be distributed to shareholders.
Just so you know, throughout 2024 the bank with the gold ribbon logo managed to record a profit of IDR 55.8 trillion.
Director of Finance and Strategy Sigit Prastowo said dividend payout ratios or dividend ratios in the last 5 years have been maintained at the 60 percent level
"This is of course in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs as the main shareholder," he said at an online press conference, Wednesday, February 5.
However, Sigit ensured, the provision of dividends from profits for the 2024 financial year will consider taking care of things to maintain healthy and also optimal capital conditions, especially to support long-term and sustainable bank business growth.
"We convey that the authority to determine the dividend payout ratio is owned by our main shareholder, namely the government through the Ministry of SOEs," said Sigit.

Previously, Bank Mandiri distributed dividends of 60 percent or IDR 33.03 trillion from consolidated net profit in 2023.
The total dividend distributed to the Republic of Indonesia for ownership of 52 percent of Bank Mandiri's shares or IDR 17 trillion will be deposited with the State General Cash Account.
