The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Ensures That 3 Kg Bright Gas Does Not Replace Elpiji Tube Melon
JAKARTA - Director General of Oil and Gas (Dirjen Migas) Achmad Muchtasyar confirmed that the circulation of 3 kilograms of Bright Gas (kg) or pink gas did not replace the subsidized 3 kg LPG.
Just so you know, this pink gas is rumored to be a substitute for 3 kg LPG which is currently rare in the community after photos of pink gas with this non-subsidized label circulated on social media.
Muchtasyar firmly denied the issue and ensured that the presence of pink gas only served as an increase in gas supply.
"No! That's part of adding supplies," he told the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, February 3.
He ensured that the government would still provide subsidies for 3 kg LPG which had been used and circulated.
Muchtasyar also revealed that currently the government is accelerating the process of transitioning the purchase of LPG from the previous retailer to the base and official agent.
The government, he said, also plans to make retailers an official distributor if they meet the requirements proposed by the government.
Muchtasyar said, the retailer has officially used the Pertamina Merchant Application (MAP) which functions to record and control the leakage of 3 kg subsidy LPG.
"This is an anticipation if the shop is suitable to become a base. Yes, the shop can be a base. We are still managing this, so that it is not expensive and the process is fast," he said.

He added that actually the retailer who had been circulating 3 kg of LPG was an illegal act because it had the potential to cause subsidies to be not on target.
"If you are a diver, you can't control it. You want to sell more expensive, want to sell it to people who don't have the right, it's up to you. Or you want to be optimized, it's up to you. But by becoming a base, he implements control systems," he said.
