100 Days of Prabowo-Gibran Administration, AGO Investigates 420 corruption cases, PNBP Reaches Rp199 billion

JAKARTA - In the first 100 days of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) has investigated 420 cases of alleged corruption. The latest cases handled are related to the Palma Group Ambassador and the bribe for acquittal involving Gregorius Ronald Tannur.

"The performance achievements of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office in the Special Crimes Sector were recorded as 420 cases which are currently under investigation," said the Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, in his statement, Friday, January 24.

In addition, the AGO also handled 403 cases that were still under investigation, 667 cases in the prosecution stage, and 12 cases that were in the process of being reviewed (PK).

Several major prominent cases are cases of alleged corruption and money laundering (TPPU) involving the Palma Group Ambassador. In this investigation, the AGO confiscated a very significant amount of evidence, including money worth Rp6.3 trillion, SGD 12,859,605, US$ 1,873,677, AUD 13,700, Yuan 2,005, Yen 2,000,000, Won 5,645,000, and RM 300.

In addition to money, a number of assets were also confiscated, including a garden area of 182,791.901 hectares, 31 units of Tug and Tongkang ships, and one Bell helicopter unit.

Another case that emerged was the alleged bribery involving the acquittal of Gregorius Ronald Tannur, with the involvement of three judges at the Surabaya District Court. In this case, investigators confiscated cash amounting to Rp82.1 billion, SGD 75,438,256, SGD 267, US$ 2,338,962, RM 35,992, RM 25, Yen 100,000, Euro 77,200, SAR 23,215, HKD 483,320, and gold weighing 51,006 grams.

From the results of the handling of these corruption cases, the AGO managed to contribute non-tax state revenue (PNBP) which reached Rp199 billion.

"The number of non-tax state revenues (PNBP) received as of December 31, 2024 reached Rp199,154,568,718," said Harli.
