Prabowo Does Not Attend Megawati's Birthday Celebration, Sends Bouquets of Flowers

JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said President Prabowo Subianto had sent a happy birthday directly to PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Prasetyo said this was Prabowo's habit. "Usually live, yes," said Prasetyo, Thursday, January 23.

Given this habit, the Minister of State Secretary is sure that Prabowo has sent flower bouquets as a form of respect for Megawati.

Regarding Prabowo's direct meeting plan with Megawati, Prasetyo said the schedule was still being arranged. "There is no plan to meet but the time is being set," he said.

He also added his hope that the government's relationship with Megawati will remain closely established in supporting future government programs.

"Of course I personally and perhaps representing the government, would like to wish Mrs. President Megawati Soekarnoputri a happy birthday. May she always be given health. We hope that in the future the government, we will continue to join hands to achieve Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran's programs," he concluded.
