'Russian Village' PARQ Ubud Bali Is Strictly Guarded By Gianyar Satpol PP After Closed

After the closure, the PARQ Ubud accommodation business, known as the 'Russian Village' on Jalan Sriwedari, Tegallalang, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali, was still closely guarded by the Gianyar Satpol PP.

Head of Satpol PP Gianyar I Made Watha said about 10 to 15 Gianyar Satpol PP personnel were on guard in the Ubud PARQ area.

"We are still on standby until the normal situation for anyone to enter must have a Satpol PP permit, what is the purpose. If he really aims to check-in, it is not allowed because the hotel has been closed, this is not licensed. There are 10 to 15 people (personnel) morning shifts and night shifts," said Watha, Wednesday, January 22.

PARQ Ubud is said to have not disturbed local residents, but the business is illegal because it does not have a permit.

"If the activity disturbs the residents, there is none. What is clear is that he is illegal, there is no permit," he said.

The Regency Government (Pemkab) Gianyar, Bali, closed the Ubud PARQ or known as the 'Russian Village' on Jalan Sriwedari, Tegallalang, Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali, the closure was carried out on Monday (20/1).

The closure was carried out because PARQ Ubud violated several Regional Regulations (Perda) of Gianyar Regency, and also based on the Decree of the Gianyar Regent Number 285/E-09/HK/2025.

"In the decision, the owner and or person in charge of the business are also asked to close their business," said Assistant General Administration of the Gianyar Regency Secretary, I Ketut Pasek Lanang Sadia in a written statement, Tuesday, January 21.

Pasek Lanang Sadia emphasized that the closing action was based on existing laws, especially the Gianyar district regional regulation.

"The closure is carried out in accordance with the laws and regional regulations of Gianyar Regency, and have gone through several stages," he said.
