Two Groups Of Residents Who Clashe With Arrows Agree To Make Peace
JAYAPURA - Two groups of residents who clashed on Jalan Baru Mimika, Central Papua, agreed to make peace was marked by the signing of a letter of agreement and the handover of busars and arrows from the security forces.
Mimika Police Chief AKBP Billyandha Hilde 23, Budiman said his party appealed after an agreement was made to make peace, there would be no more people in this area carrying sharp weapons in public places.
"We will take legal action if there are still residents who carry sharp weapons," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 22.
According to Budiman, his party will conduct sharp weapons raids to create a conducive security situation in Mimika Regency.
"Meanwhile, the opening of road access will be opened after the traditional procession of 'rock fire'," he said.

He explained that currently two of the eight victims due to the conflict are still being treated in hospital while the other six have returned to their respective homes.
"As for the perpetrators of the burning of our car, we are still waiting for the police report (LP), of course we will take action," he said.
Clashes on Jalan Baru Mimika between the Ricky Dolame and Eli Dolame groups occurred on Sunday (19/1).
