Coordinating Minister For Human Development And Culture Expressed The Contents Of The Peace Agreement At The Ministry Of Education And Technology
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Pratikno revealed the contents of the peace agreement between the leadership and representatives of employees of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) after the two met and had a dialogue.
Pratikno explained that the two parties agreed not to continue the problem, which was originally the reason a number of Ministry of Education and Technology employees rallied at the ministry office.
"I have met with the Minister of Education and Technology, and he conveyed, explaining what he has conveyed to the media," Praktikno said when met after a cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 22.
"I have also met with fellow employee representatives. So, basically both parties have met, then agreed not to prolong this problem," he said.
From the results of the dialogue between the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Satryo Brodjonegoro and representatives of ministry employees, both agreed to establish good communication.
Regarding the allegations that emerged in the public regarding Minister Satryo's arrogant attitude, Pratikno did not want to comment much. However, he stressed that the problems had been resolved.
"Already. There has been a meeting, and both parties have conveyed it to me. So, it's safe. There is no problem," continued the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture.
Pratikno, when asked about whether President Prabowo Subianto knew about the chaos in the Ministry of Education and Technology, answered that the news was already busy in the media.
"Yes, it's already in the media," said Pratikno.

Minister Satryo, when met at the Presidential Palace complex after the trial, chose to remain silent when asked about the results of his dialogue with representatives at the Ministry of Higher Education.
Satryo chose to continue walking to the vehicle that brought him to the gate, and did not answer the various questions raised to him, including regarding the President's directives for the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
Hundreds of ASN from the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti) Kemdiktisaintek rallied at the Ministry Office on Monday (20/1) morning. One of the protests was triggered by a sudden dismissal of an employee of the Ministry of Education and Technology named Neni Herlina.
After the action, Minister Satryo then had a dialogue with Neni Herlina and the Chairperson of the Suwitno Dikti Employee Association.
During the meeting, which took place at the ministerial official residence, Satryo explained that the Ministry of Education and Technology tried their best to serve all the existing staff, as well as establish good cooperation with them.
"We hope that in the future, later this ministry will have a fairly good achievement, we also hope that the staff will have adequate welfare," said Minister Satryo.
