German Tourists Are Secured By Immigration When They Want To Ride Mount Agung Without A Guide

KARANGASEM - A man from Germany with the initials KES was secured by immigration officers while climbing Mount Agung, in Karangasem Regency, Bali, without a guide.

This foreigner was secured by immigration officers at the Gunung Agung Climbing Post, at Pura Pasar Agung, Karangasem, Bali.

The head of the Singaraja Immigration Office, Hendra Setiawan, said the foreigner was detained on Friday (17/1).

"Received a report about foreigners climbing without the guide. We immediately dispatched a team to the Mount Agung Climbing post via the Pasar Agung Line," said Hendra, Wednesday, January 22.

Initially, Inteladakim Immigration Singaraja officers received a report from the manager of the Gunung Agung guide regarding a foreigner suspected of climbing without being accompanied by a guide.

The foreign tourist arrived at the parking lot of Pura Pasar Agung alone riding a motorcycle.

When asked by the guard officers, the foreigner admitted that he wanted to go to Pura Pasar Agung.

However, because his behavior was suspicious, the guard immediately approached and told him that if he wanted to climb, he had to be accompanied by a guide for security reasons.

This rule refers to Circular (SE)! The Bali Province Forestry and Environment Service. The regulation is also installed in billboards in the VIP Pura Pasar Agung parking area.

This is a preventive measure to anticipate things that are not desirable due to climbing without a guide.

The foreign national with the initials KES is now placed in the Immigration Detention Room of the Singaraja Immigration Office for examination.

"We have secured the foreigner to the office for further investigation and investigation. This is because he is suspected of violating the circular letter from the Head of Forestry and Environment of Bali Province," said Hendra.
