Bridgestone Launches Turanza 6, New Tire Equipped With This Technology

JAKARTA - Tire is one of the important components of every vehicle that functions to support the load, to maintain the stability of the steering. Being one of the leading producers, PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia (Bridgestone Indonesia) continues to innovate to present a new tire model.

Most recently, to strengthen the line-up in the premium convenience touring tire segment, Bridgestone officially launched its newest tire, Turanza 6, which is designed to provide the best driving experience for consumers.

The tires are embedded with ENLITEN technology, namely Bridgestone's unique technology which allows a tire to balance the unique aspects of a tire (unique tracks), safety and sustainability.

President Director of Bridgestone Indonesia, Mukiat Sutikno, said Turanza 6 not only presents superior products in terms of performance, but also in line with our commitment to sustainability.

"The latest technology in this tire is designed to meet the needs of modern consumers who prioritize optimal comfort and safety with the best performance on wet and dry roads, regardless of the driving force of the car, both ICE and EV," he said, in his remarks at the launch, Wednesday, January 22.

In terms of safety, this new Bridgestone tire offers higher security with a new design that increases the grip on the wet surface. This design helps reduce the risk of aquaplaning and shorten the braking distance, providing a sense of security for drivers in various weather conditions.

With lower rolling resistance, Turanza 6 supports fuel efficiency for conventional vehicles and maximizes battery travel for electric vehicles (EVs). This not only helps reduce CO2 emissions, but also creates more environmentally friendly travel.

As a premium convenience touring tire, Turanza 6 is available in 34 sizes, including five new measures that cover various types of vehicles, both sedans, MPVs to SUVs, and there are size options ranging from 14-19 inches.
