Elderly With Mental Disorders Allegedly Burning Himself In Pamulang Rented House

TANGERANG A rented house in Pondok Benda, Pamulang, South Tangerang (Tangsel) caught fire. One person was found dead with burns.

Danru Charlie of the South Tangerang City Fire and Rescue Service, Fakhruddin, said the death toll was an elderly man (elderly) on behalf of Alawai (70).

The fire incident occurred on Monday, January 20, at 18.02 WIB.

Based on residents' information, the victim had a mental disorder. Residents suspect Alawai set himself on fire.

"Allegedly burning himself, the victim was emotional or stressed," Fakhruddin said when confirmed, Monday, January 20.

Fakhruddin revealed that when the victim was found, his body was lying on his back. He was lying in the kitchen of the burning house.

"The percentage that caught fire was 45 percent," he said

A total of 3 fire engines and several personnel jumped to the location and managed to extinguish the fire at 19.50 WIB.

The part that caught fire was the kitchen cooking room and also the roof, the lid.
