Evacuation Of One Pocket Of Glodok Plaza Fire Victims Only Bones And Damaged Cellphones

JAKARTA - The search for fire victims at Glodok Plaza continues until Monday, January 20, noon. The search process was carried out by 2 teams consisting of 70 personnel.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Disaster Data and Information Center (Pusdatin), Mohamad Yohan, said the joint team was still conducting searches by conducting sweeps of all 7th and 8th floors of Glodok Plaza, Tamansari District, West Jakarta. While the 9th floor has collapsed.

"Today, the search is still ongoing starting at 10.00 WIB, it is still ongoing. The number found is still 8 body bags," said Mohamad Yohan when confirmed by VOI, Monday, January 20.

In the last discovery, namely one body bag of the Glodok Plaza fire victim, Yohan said he only evacuated human bone debris.

"The last body bag that was found was my bones and a cellphone that caught fire," he said.

Yohan explained that the process of finding victims of the fire has now started to random (random) not all of them are intact bodies.

"We agree with the team to call it a body bag, because now what has been found is random, pieces of the body. Not necessarily from the same body part, something like that," he said.

The 14 people who were reported missing in the fire incident at Glodok Plaza Mall, West Jakarta were named Aulia Belinda (28) a woman, Deri Sauki (25) male, Osima Yukari (25) female, Aldrina S (29) female, Aryti (29) female, Shinta Amelia (20) female, Indira Seviana Bela (25) female.

Cool Shalim J (21) female, Intan Mutiara (26) female, Desti (female), Zukhi Radja (42) male, Chika Adinda Yustin (26) female, Muljadi (56) male and Dian Cahyadi (38) female.
