Eight Teenagers Brawlers Arrested By Police During A Convoy Carrying Sharp Weapons
Eight teenagers with sharp weapons were arrested by the Precision Pioneer Patrol Team (TP3) of the West Jakarta Metro Police while carrying out a convoy on Jalan Kapuk Raya, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
Head of Samapta Polres Metro West Jakarta, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto said the convoy was arrested on Sunday, January 19.
The arrests began when members of Team 1 TP3 who were on patrol received reports from residents regarding a group of motorized youths suspected of wanting to carry out a brawl using sharp weapons in the North Kapuk Street area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
"Receiving the report, Team 1 immediately moved to the location. Arriving at the location, we met the group of youths who were carrying sharp weapons and immediately gave chase," said AKBP Agung when confirmed, Monday, January 20.

After the pursuit, the team managed to arrest eight teenagers who were suspected of being involved in a brawl. The police confiscated 6 sharp weapons of the type of sickle. The perpetrators along with the evidence were then handed over to the Penjaringan Police, North Jakarta.
"We are also conducting a search at the location to ensure that no other sharp weapons are left behind. This step is taken to prevent potential brawls that can endanger the community," he said.
AKBP Agung appealed to the public, especially parents, to increase supervision of their children's activities.
