Russia Denies Allegations Of Polish PM Regarding Air Terrorism Action Plan
JAKARTA - The Kremlin said the accusations by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that Russia was planning "acts of terrorism" in the air against Poland and other countries were completely baseless.
Tusk made the statement on Wednesday, January 15, after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Warsaw. It is suspected that Tusk's statement referred to packages exploding at logistics depots in Europe that Western security officials said were part of a trial of Russia's plans to trigger an explosion on cargo flights to America.
"This is truly baseless accusations against Russia," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters when asked about Tusk's statement.
"Poland is famous for making such accusations," he added.
