Offtaker Of Cattle KUR Distribution Surrenders To The NTB Prosecutor's Office
The MSZ suspect who acted as an offtaker or collector and buyer of cattle products in the distribution of people's business loans in 2021-2022 from PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Tbk Mataram-Majapahit Sub-Branch Office surrendered to investigators at the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office.
Deputy Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Dedie Tri Hariyadi, confirmed that MSZ had surrendered. "Yes, so the suspect MSZ came to surrender himself to the NTB Prosecutor's Office after his pretrial lawsuit was rejected at the Mataram District Court," said Dedie at a press conference at the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, January 15.
MSZ came to the NTB Prosecutor's Office today at around 09.00 WITA and immediately underwent an examination in a special criminal room. Dedie explained that during his status as a suspect, MSZ was never present to fulfill the investigator's summons.
"Three times he was called, but he was absent, and even had time to escape from Mataram," he said.
From the results of the intelligence team's search, MSZ when investigators arrested the first suspect in Central Lombok Regency, it was revealed that he had fled for the first time to Kalimantan.
"Then, moving to Jakarta and shifting to Bogor, precisely in Gunungsindur. Then, when the team made an arrest in Semarang, MSZ was revealed in Cirebon," he explained.
From Cirebon, the intelligence team lost track of MSZ until it finally reappeared by filing a pretrial lawsuit to the Mataram District Court.
During the pretrial, MSZ was observed attending a virtual trial from outside Mataram City with his presence at the trial represented by a team of legal advisors.
"As a result of tracking the intelligence team, the position at that time it was revealed that he was in Bali," said Dedie.
The NTB Prosecutor's Office in handling this case named MSZ along with three other people as suspects who have been detained by investigators. They have the initials M, MSM, and SE.
MSZ in this case acts as an offtaker with suspects M and MSM. The suspect SE is a former official at PT BSI Tbk KCP Mataram-Majapahit.

In the investigation process, the prosecutor's office has pocketed the results of the audit on the calculation of state financial losses with a value of at least Rp. 8.2 billion.
The loss figure arises from the results of the NTB Inspectorate's exposure which states that there are indications of state financial losses in the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the distribution of KUR funds.
