After Killing Sandy Permana, Nanang Simbal Cuts Police Hairfeeding

Polda Metro Jaya revealed that the alleged perpetrator of the murder of actor Sandy Permana, namely Nanang Irawan (45) alias Nanang Gymbal had cut his hair to eliminate traces.

"The perpetrator had cut his hair while on the run to Karawang, using scissors borrowed from a shop with the aim of not being recognized during the escape," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Ade Ary added that the perpetrator was arrested today at around 10.45 WIB.

"Arrested in Poris Hamlet RT 04/09, Kutamukti Village, Kutawaluya District, Karawang, West Java," he said.

Head of Sub-Directorate of Mobile Investigation (Resmob) Polda Metro Jaya Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Ressa Fiardy Marasabessy explained that evidence of a knife used by the perpetrator to kill the victim had been found.

"It has been found in the gate near the TKP (scene of the case)," he said.

Nanang arrived at the building of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya at around 14:13 WIB.

He was taken to the Ditreskrimum building without saying a word.

The police have arrested the alleged perpetrator named Nanang Irawan (45) alias Gimmbal who is suspected of killing the soap opera actor "Misteri Gunung Merapi 3", Sandy Permana.

"Yes, he has been arrested," said Head of the Bekasi Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim), Police Commissioner Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar when confirmed from Jakarta, Wednesday.

However, he did not explain the chronology of the location of the arrest. He only said that the suspected perpetrator was currently taken to the Polda Metro Jaya. "Towards Polda Metro Jaya," he said.
