BYD Prepares These Four Mainstay Models At The South Korean Market, Including The Atto 3 SUV
JAKARTA - BYD will officially enter the passenger car market in South Korea tomorrow January 16. In a statement, BYD will carry various car models including the Atto 3 SUV which has received certification from the South Korea National Environmental Research Institute.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Wednesday, January 15, the Chinese brand itself has registered various models for the South Korean market, starting from Seal, Dolphin, and Sealion thus a total of four models will be launched in the first year.
This certification process aims to verify the performance of electric vehicles, such as travel distances with a single charge. The results show that Atto 3 has a distance of 321 km per charge in normal conditions and 309 km in low temperature conditions.
Being the first model to get certification in South Korea, it is hoped that the SUV, which is also present in Indonesia, will soon be sent to consumers in February, and the price can also be reduced thanks to incentives provided by the government.
