African Citizen's Laptop Thief At Duri Tambora Station Arrested
The Tambora Police have arrested MR (62) who stole a laptop belonging to an African citizen (WN) named Amadhila (26) which occurred on the commuter line train in the Duri Tambora Station, West Jakarta.
"The perpetrator has admitted his actions. When he was arrested, he had sold the laptop to his colleague, FS (28)," said Tambora Police Chief, Kompol Donny Agung Harvida, Monday, January 13.
Although the victim's laptop had been stolen, the police managed to confiscate the stolen laptop that had been sold by the perpetrator. The perpetrator was arrested after the police followed the CCTV footage and conducted an inspection at Duri Tambora Station.
As a result of the investigation, the police managed to identify the characteristics of the perpetrator until they finally arrested the perpetrator. Then the perpetrator was developed and managed to confiscate the stolen goods.
The perpetrator was secured to the Tambora Police. However, because the perpetrator intended to return the victim's laptop, the victim and the perpetrator finally agreed to make peace.

After the perpetrator and the victim were met, Amadhila chose to forgive the perpetrator and not continue the legal process.
"We appreciate the victim's decision to forgive the perpetrators, so that a peaceful settlement can be realized," he said.
