Death Driver Land Cruiser Prado In Sukabumi Installs Setwapres Stickers To Be Safe And Comfortable On The Road

SUKABUMI - FW, owner of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado vehicle involved in an accident in Sukabumi, West Java, admitted to installing a sticker of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (Setwapres) Secretariat for his personal idea for security reasons.

The sticker representing the agency was recognized by FW to provide a sense of security and comfort.

"Just for security, sir. To be comfortable, sir," said FW, quoting ANTARA, Sunday night, January 12, 2025.

In the 41-second video received, FW also admitted that the car he owned with police number B 1668 UR was not an official car from the relevant agency, but a private car.

In addition, he also admitted that he worked as an entrepreneur and was not an employee of the relevant agencies.

This is in line with the official statement of clarification previously released by the Indonesian Secretariat on Sunday afternoon.

"The vehicle does not belong to the Vice Presidential Secretariat. Neither the owner nor the driver is an employee or official within the Vice Presidential Secretariat," reads a statement from the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Vice Presidential Secretariat, in Jakarta, Sunday.

In addition, the Setwapres also explained that the sticker that reads the Secretariat of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia that can be seen in the car is not an official sticker issued by the agency.

The sticker is stated to have nothing to do with the official institution of the Vice Presidential Secretariat.

The Secretariat of the Vice President expressed concern over the incident and hoped that all parties involved could resolve this issue in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
