DKI Provincial Government Urges Residents To Avoid The East Side Of The Bogor Highway Starting January 18, 2025

JAKARTA The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government appealed to residents to avoid the east side of the Bogor Highway section, especially after the Pasar Rebo intersection, starting on January 18, 2025. This is because there will be traffic engineering at that location in line with the construction of the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) pipeline.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Syafrin Liputo, said that this traffic engineering was carried out to support the smooth running of SPAM pipeline installation work. Syafrin reminded the public to comply with established traffic arrangements, follow traffic signs, and follow instructions from officers in the field.

"We are advised road users to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements set, comply with traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," said Syafrin in his statement.

According to Syafrin, the SPAM pipeline installation work will be carried out in stages with five excavation points or "pits". During the work, there will be a reduction in lanes or road width along the work area, and the closure of the 'plat deck' will be carried out situationally when traffic is heavy.

The traffic engineering will be carried out in several stages:

With this traffic engineering, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency hopes that people can adjust and avoid affected areas, for the smooth running of work and safety together.
