Alleged Bribery Of IDR 1.5 Billion, Unscrupulous Judge In East Kalimantan Reported To KY
JAKARTA The case of Ronald Tannur, one of the judges in East Kalimantan (Kaltim) was reported to the Judicial Commission (KY), Central Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, January 9, 2025.
Yulianto, a resident of Berau Regency, East Kalimantan accompanied by his attorney, complained that a judge in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan was suspected of bribery or a violation of the code of ethics.
The allegation stems from the land inheritance dispute trial, where Yulianto, who is the heir's biological family, was defeated in a trial at the Tanjung Redeb District Court by the panel of judges.
Yulianto's party claimed to have eyewitnesses and had evidence of bribery receipts, from the law against the judge. In the receipt, it was stated that the handover of Rp500 million and luxury cellphones to the chairman of the panel of judges with the initials 'l' and the judge who had been sanctioned had the initials 'M'.

Not only filing a complaint with KY, the complainant also brought a report on the alleged bribery or violation of the judge's code of ethics to the Attorney General's Office of the Supervisory Board.
