Halal Product Education, Gambling Candy Manufacturer Gets BPJPH
JAKARTA - candy producer PT Yupi Indo Jelly Gum ensures that all products meet halal standards according to the 2014 Law on Halal Product Guarantee (UU JPH).
"We present high-quality halal products, which are the company's commitments that are always maintained,"ACperi Marketing Manager Addyono Koloway told reporters, Thursday, January 9.
He added that all products have also been registered with the Halal Product Guarantee Administration (BPJPH) and comply with the Halal Security System (SJH) from raw materials to distribution.
"We ensure that every process runs according to standards, providing a sense of security and calm and high quality," he said.
Addyono hopes that the public does not believe the untrue news on social media. The reason is, it can damage unity and create conflicts in society.
"It is important to be wise in communicating on social media in order to maintain the harmony of the people," he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of BPJPH Ahmad Haikal Hasan said that the current halal product is not only for consumption by the Muslim community.
Abroad, he said, halal food has been known since 1992.

He gave an example, South Korea is very concerned about halal products in its country, both eating and cosmetics.
"Halal is the WHO standard, you know. I am surprised that Indonesia, with the majority Muslim population still ranked eighth in the country in terms of halal certification. Now this is a bit confusing for me. Meanwhile, America and Korea are usually in the first and fourth positions," he said.
This will be used as the right momentum for business activists to be certified halal this year.
"Our target is 2025 to justify food products. Next is halal cosmetics in 2026," said Haikal.
