KPK Examines Riezky Aprilia, Member Of The Indonesian House Of Representatives F-PDIP Who Was Tackled For Harun Masiku
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of the former PDI-P candidate (PDIP) who is now a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Riezky Aprilia today, Tuesday, January 7. He was questioned regarding the alleged interim replacement bribery (PAW) of members of the Indonesian House of Representatives and the obstruction of the investigation that ensnared PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, January 7.
Meanwhile, Riezky, said that the anti-corruption commission had wanted to be detained as a member of the council. This was conveyed by KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto when announcing the determination of the suspect Hasto on December 24, 2024.
According to Setyo, Hasto had detained the invitation letter for Riezky Aprilia's inauguration as a member of the DPRI. The action was carried out allegedly as a way to help Harun Masiku.
In fact, Riezky was elected as a candidate for the DPR RI from the PDIP Electoral Region I of South Sumatra (Dapil I Sumsel) with the second most votes, namely 44,402 votes. Thus, he has the right to replace Nazarudin Kiemas who died through the PAW system.
It didn't stop there, Hasto also submitted a judicial review (JR) to the Supreme Court (MA) on June 24, 2019, until he signed a letter regarding the application for the implementation of the JR decision to win Harun. Then, various methods were also taken, such as trying for Riezky to resign.
"However, this effort was rejected by sister Riezky Aprilia," said Setyo at a press conference at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, Tuesday, December 24.
This effort made the giving of money to former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan.
Previously reported, the KPK has named PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and Donny Tri Istiqomah as PDIP cadres and lawyers as suspects in alleged bribery related to interim shifts (PAW) for members of the DPR RI.
They are suspected of participating in bribing former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to smooth Harun Masiku's move to become a member of the council.
In addition, Hasto is also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of carrying out a number of ways to make the case unfinished, one of which asked Harun to destroy his cellphone and run away after the hand arrest operation (OTT) was held.
