Residents Disband LGBT Party In The Green Permata Area, South Jakarta

JAKARTA A number of residents of Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta came to a bar in the ITC Permata Hijau mall on suspicion of an LGBT party. Residents suspect that there has been illegal practices that have been carried out since New Year's Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

Kebayoran Lama Police Chief, Kompol Widya Agustiono said his party was still investigating the alleged existence of the LGBT activity.

He admitted that until now he had not received a clear report regarding the allegations of LGBT activities.

"Until now there has been no report. What is clear is that the issue of LGBT allegations is still under investigation," said Widya, Monday, January 6.

Widya still explained that the residents who came to the place were not for raids, but asked the guests at the bar to go home because of allegations of LGBT parties.

"Information from the manager, residents asked their guests to go home. Because of the allegations of LGBT. So it's not a raid," he said.

The LGBT raid went viral on social media.
