Indosat Wins 4 International Awards For Digital And AI Innovation

JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison won three international awards as Best Digital Transformation Project, Project Delivery Perfection, and Telecom Excellence at the 2024 Glotel Awards held in the UK.

"This achievement not only confirms Indosat's commitment to transforming into AI TechCo, but also motivates us to continue to innovate and make a real contribution to accelerating digital equity in Indonesia," said Desmond Cheung, Director & Chief Technology Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison in a written statement quoted Wednesday, January 1.

According to him, this award reflects Indosat's success in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve operational performance, provide smarter services, and support Indonesia's digital transformation.

This award also demonstrates the company's commitment to driving digital transformation and improving telecommunications services through strategic collaboration with a number of leading global partners.

In addition, Indosat also received the Outstanding Catalyst Business Impact award at the 2024 TMForum Innovate Asia, in Bangkok, Thailand last November.

This award is given as a form of recognition for the significant impact that Indosat has had in accelerating digital transformation, encouraging the adoption of advanced technology, and improving the quality of customer experience in the telecommunications sector.
