Deputy Minister Tiko Said That MIND ID And Inalum IPO Will Not Be Carried Out In The Near Future
Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo alluded to the possibility of Holding BUMN Mining Industry MIND ID conducting an initial public offering (IPO).
However, Tiko Kartika's nickname emphasized that the IPO plan would not be carried out in the near future.
"Meanwhile, there is no one yet. We haven't seen anyone in the short term. But in our opinion, the medium term is the best for the IPO in the MIND ID group," he said at the PLN's Central Load Settings Unit (UIP2B), Depok, West Java, Thursday, December 27.
Not only MIND ID has the opportunity for an IPO, Tiko also opens the possibility to bring MIND ID's subsidiary, PT Indonesia Asahan Alumunium (Inalum) to the IPO simultaneously.
"It can be held, it can be held in Inalum. It can be both, so we will study it," he said.
Currently, continued Tiko, his party is focusing on carrying out the merger process or merger of a number of SOEs. One of them, in the construction sector involving seven state-owned companies.
The seven SOEs are PT Hutama Karya (Persero), PT Waskita Karya (Persero), PT PP (Persero), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) or Wika, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), PT Adhi Karya (Persero), and PT Nindya Karya (Persero).
Tiko explained that Waskita Karya's plan would be merged with Hutama Karya (HK). Later, Hutama Karya will become the parent company.
Then, he continued, Wijaya Karya will be merged with PT PP. Meanwhile, Brantas Abipraya will merge with Adhi Karya and PT Nindya Karya. However, he said, specifically the two company mergers are still under study to find the right scheme.
"The integration of the work that we are currently pushing is what Waskita is entering under HK. Now for WIKA with PP, and between Adhi Karya Brantas we are reviewing the structure," he said.

"Maybe the end of the first quarter (the target is completed). If Wastika Karya-HK is already in the process of issuing PP. WIKA-PP, Brantas-Adhi is still under study, maybe in the first quarter (2025) we will decide later," he said.
