There's A Strange Bug In Windows 11, Users Can't Install Security Updates

JAKARTA Windows 11 users get strange bugs that can limit security updates. According to Microsoft's findings, this problem prevents users from downloading the latest security.

This problem stems from the Windows 11 download media version 24H2, both CD and USB flashdisk. If users use the media to download security updates in October or November, they are most likely affected by this bug.

"While using the media to install Windows 11 version 24H2, the device may remain in condition unable to receive further Windows security updates," Microsoft said in an update note.

Microsoft also emphasizes that bugs come from software released around October 8 to November 12. Users who download security updates via Windows Update or the Microsoft Update Catalog website will not be affected.

This is a very strange bug because users will lose the update feature in the future. So far, there is no solution for affected users, but Microsoft is trying to fix the bug.

"We are working on a settlement and will provide more information when available," Microsoft said. The company also only provides advice for users who have not updated their devices.

To prevent bugs from downloading, Microsoft has banned its users from downloading security updates in October or November through any media. If you still want to use the media, the downloaded software must include security in December.
