Israeli Military Fails To Intercept Yemen's Houthi Missile, 14 Injured In Jaffa

JAKARTA - The Israeli military failed to intercept a missile from Yemen on Saturday (21/22) that crashed in the Tel Aviv-Jaffa area. Ambulance services said 14 people were injured.

A spokesman for Iran's Houthi group said they were attacking military targets' in the Jaffa region with ballistic missiles.

As reported by Reuters on Sunday, December 22, paramedics treated 14 people who suffered minor injuries from shrapnel and some were rushed to hospital.

The Houthis have repeatedly fired drones and missiles at Israel.

The attack on Israel is said to be an act of solidarity against Palestinians in Gaza.

On Thursday, Israel launched attacks on ports and energy infrastructure in the Houthi-controlled Yemen region and threatened to carry out further attacks on Yemeni groups.
