Rest Area Batang-Semarang Toll Road Implements Open And Close During The 2025 Christmas And New Year Holidays
JATENG - The Batang Resort Police (Polres), Central Java, has implemented an open and closing system in several rest areas of the Batang-Semarang Toll Road to prevent the accumulation of vehicles when facing the 2025 Christmas and New Year holidays.
Batang Police Chief AKBP Nur Cahyo Ari Prasetyo said that his party had prepared 277 personnel consisting of 259 members of the Resort Police, 18 TNI personnel, and 130 cross-sectoral members.
"We have prepared members in two rest areas and the Kandeman toll exit. There will be patrols and parking arrangements by looking at the volume of vehicles entering the location," he said in Batang, Friday, December 20, which was confiscated by Antara.
According to him, in securing Christmas and New Year's 2025, through the 2024 Candi Candle operation, there are things that are observed, namely traffic safety and security that are focused on toll roads, northern coast and alternative routes.
Then, security from religious activities in places of worship by carrying out sterilization and coordination.
"In addition, we will also focus on security in several locations of community crowds on New Year's Eve 2025 celebrations and tourist attractions," he said.

Nur Cahyo said that his party also alerted plainclothes personnel at vulnerable points as an effort to provide comfort for residents and travelers.
