Here Comes LIGHTSUM, The New Idol Group From Cube Entertainment
JAKARTA - Cube Entertainment agency will soon debut a new idol named LIGHTSUM.
On April 15, South Korean time, Cube released a 17-second teaser featuring the group's animated logo.
Cited from Soompi on the same day, the meaning of LIGHTSUM is that the shining light will combine to connect everyone in the world as well as become a group that gives positive energy through a message of hope.
LIGHTSUM itself is the newest group from Cube Entertainment after debuting (G)I-DLE in 2018. Some time earlier, Cube was seen registering the name LIGHTSUM as a trademark so that this raised listeners' expectations with the concept and song.

The agency also released an official Twitter account so fans can look forward to anyone entering the LIGHTSUM group.
Cube Entertainment is one of the successful agencies to score various female idol groups such as 4Minute, CLC, (G)I-DLE, and most recently LIGHTSUM.
LIGHTSUM is projected to debut in the first half of the year.
