The Surge In Passengers At Lebak Bulus Terminal, Bus Drivers Undergo Blood Tests And Urine
JAKARTA School holidays and ahead of Christmas 2025, Lebak Bulus Terminal, South Jakarta are predicted to experience an increase in the number of passengers on Monday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 24.
"Tanggal 24 dan 25 sudah mulai libur sekolah," kata Kepala Satuan Pelaksana (Kasatpel) Terminal Lebak Bulus Mochamad Iman Sapril, Jumat, 20 Desember.
Iman also said that the peak of the passenger flow is expected to exceed the average number of passengers every day, namely 110 passengers.
"Previously, there were at least 60-70 passengers. Later it is estimated that there will be up to 110 passengers," he said

To ensure the safety of prospective passengers to their destination, the manager of the Lebak Bulus Terminal cooperates with the South Jakarta Health Office and the puskesmas to check the health of bus drivers.
"So the drivers will have blood sugar checked, blood pressure, alcohol and urine tests," he said.
He revealed that for today's examination, no driver has been found using drugs. However, if it is found, it will be reported to the City National Narcotics Agency (BNNK) of South Jakarta Administrative City.
"If a driver is found positive for drugs, the driver is prohibited from carrying the vehicle and handled by the BNNK directly," he said.
