Residents Clash With Project Workers In Kebon Kacang Allegedly Due To Noisy Sounds In The Middle Of The Night

JAKARTA The results of a temporary investigation conducted by the police, it is known that the clashes on Jalan Kebon Kacang 29, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta occurred because project workers worked until late at night.

As explained by the Tanah Abang Metro Police Chief, AKBP Aditya Sembiring if due to the overtime work of project workers, residents feel disturbed.

"Miscommunication is due to work problems. Initial allegations are related to work time problems that are until late at night," said AKBP Aditya Sembiring when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, December 19.

Local residents claimed to be disturbed by the land clearing work carried out until the evening by project workers. This is because the work has disrupted local residents' rest hours.

"Yes, because of the noise (the residents were disturbed)," he said.

Currently, three people have been arrested in connection with the death of AS (71), a project worker who was currently operating an excavator.

The three suspected perpetrators were taken to the Central Jakarta Metro Police for examination.
