Recorded By CCTV Camera, Boy Using School Bag Steals Clothing Store Rental Money

JAKARTA - A small boy was caught on CCTV cameras breaking into the storefront where money was stored at a uniform clothing store at Karang Anyar Market, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

As a result of the theft, the shop owner lost Rp3.5 million in cash. Even though the money was deliberately collected to pay shop rent.

Based on CCTV camera footage, the perpetrator sneaked into the clothing store. At the time of the incident, the perpetrator was still carrying a school bag. The perpetrator saw the victim's bag lying on the glass store.

"I will distribute the CCTV results because there have been many victims. IDR 3.5 million in cash from the sale (stolen). I collect it for monthly payments for the store," said the victim of Ratipah, Wednesday, December 18.

The victim plans to report the incident to the police. The victim hopes that the perpetrators will be immediately secured to be deterrent. The case is under investigation by the Sawah Besar Police.
