Jender Igor Kirillov Dies, Russia: Preferential Actions To Be Paid Are Expensive Kyiv

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev stressed that Ukraine's Kyiv regime will pay dearly for the death of Russia's Head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov.

"Efforts to intimidate our country, stop Russian attacks, or sow fears of failure. Certain penalties await including military and political leaders in the country that is collapsing," Medvedev's office said.

Medvedev condemned the attack he called the collapse of the Kiyv regime.

"This terrorist attack shows the suffering of the Banderit regime, which is struggling to justify its shaky existence in the eyes of Western supporters and prolongs deadly hostilities while carrying out coward attacks on civilians in big and small cities," he stressed.

Senior Russian security officials describe Kirillov as a true Russian patriot.

Igor is a military leader who is known for his unshakable service to his duties. I know him as a dedicated professional and a reliable, honest, and responsible person," he continued.

On Tuesday morning, an explosive device planted on a scooter exploded near the entrance to the building where Ryazansky Avenue lives in Moscow. Kirillov and his aide died in the explosion.

The Russian Investigative Committee has classified the explosion as a terrorist attack, Svetlana Committee Spokesman Petrenko told TASS.
