Prabowo Kunker Luar Negeri Kedua, Bakal Temui Presiden Mesir Dan PM Malaysia
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto during his overseas visit, the two are scheduled to meet officially with the President of Egypt and the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
The first meeting was held with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, and a meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will be held after the D-8 Summit (KTT) in Egypt is complete.
"I will hold a bilateral meeting with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi," said Prabowo at Halim Perdanakusama Air Force Base, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 17, which was confiscated by Antara.
The President said that Egypt is a friendly country and also a strategic partner for Indonesia.
In addition, Egypt is also one of the important countries in the Middle East region so meeting with the Head of State of Egypt is certainly an important momentum.
Moreover, President Prabowo's visit was the first from Indonesia to Egypt, so of course this meeting was also special for the two countries.
Furthermore, meetings with other heads of state will take place after the D-8 Summit in Egypt is over.
The President stated that he would meet with Malaysian Prime Minister (PM) Anwar Ibrahim.
Before meeting the Malaysian Prime Minister, Prabowo also scheduled to meet several figures from various industries in unofficial meetings.
"After the summit, I will hold unofficial meetings with several economic figures, industry leaders, and also stop by Malaysia to meet with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. I think that's what I want to convey," said Prabowo.

Previously, it was reported that the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, had left for Cairo, Egypt as his second visit abroad.
The Head of State departed from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta, Friday at around 11.38 WIB using a white Indonesian Republic of Indonesia aircraft with a red line.
In addition to holding bilateral meetings with the head of state, the President is also scheduled to attend the D-8 Summit to represent Indonesia receiving the chairmanship of D-8 for the 2026-2027 period.
