Lightcraft Successfully Holds Second Tour In Japan, Successfully Brings Positive Animo In Sakura Country

JAKARTA - An antamic pop band from Jakarta, lightcraft recently stopped by Japan again and restored their relationship with fans in Tokyo and Gunma. After an energetic performance at MARZ Shinjuku and three shows at the 2024 M Festival in Minakami, the lightcraft comeback tour proved to have received a positive response.

Starting in Tokyo, the lightcraft captivated fans with an intense set full of surprises, combining soaring melodies with an electronic touch that amazed the audience. The journey continued with three remarkable appearances at the immersive M Festival, where their set blended with the beautiful mountain view of theungs.

In every appearance, the presence of a charismatic stage and their dynamical energy leaves unforgettable memories. This strengthens their reputation as more they become a band to watch.

"Support from the fans here is extraordinary. Japan feels like home, and we are very grateful for the warmth and enthusiasm of everyone who comes to watch. We can't wait to come back," said Imam Surataruna in a written statement received by VOI, December 16.

Since their last tour in Japan, lightcraft has developed their capacity as a band, pushing for boundaries with new electronic depth and finesse. Featuring songs from the issue of their 2022 album deluxe, Hope + Love, the band shows their artistic growth and presents a very memorable style of dynamic appearance for fans.

Japanese audiences also received exclusive previews of their new single, Tell Me ( ikkubarufeat), which since its release on November 8, 2024 has been well received by music fans and critics.

This tour, which was organized in collaboration with Japonicus, M Festival, and Radical Music Network, marks the long-awaited return of the lightcraft to the international stage. The band's return to Japan not only revived their fan base but also paved the way for future visits, with plans already underway to come back again.

They also met many new friends along the way, including South Korean band South Carnival.

"We finally faced each other in a billiard match, the match between Indonesia and South Korea. We won and managed to get their black disks! But in the end we exchanged it with our CD," said guitarist Fari Febrian with a laugh.
