Not Yet On Target, Jakarta's 2024 Regional Budget Revenue Is Only 91.54 Percent

JAKARTA - The realization of regional revenue in the 2024 DKI Jakarta APBD has only reached 91.54 percent or IDR 68.61 trillion as of December 10, 2024. In fact, the target until the end of the year is IDR 73.95 trillion or 98.67 percent.

Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi asked the regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to optimize the increase in revenue in each work agency, because the budget year will end.

"More efforts are needed to increase the realization of revenue by IDR 5.34 trillion or an increase of 7.13 percent," said Teguh in Jakarta, Monday, December 16.

Meanwhile, the realization of regional spending as of December 10 has only reached IDR 56.83 trillion or 74.75 percent. The spending projection until the end of the year is IDR 70.15 trillion or 92.27 percent.

"The spending budget absorbed is Rp 13.32 trillion or around 17.52 percent in the next dozen days," said Teguh.

Teguh also asked the heads of regional apparatuses to make payments for the completion of end-of-year work by paying attention to the principle of accountability.

"Ensure that the output and outcome of all activities are achieved and that the achievement of the commitment to Increase the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) is met, which is targeted until the end of the year. Improve the internal control and supervision system by checking the adequacy of cash in the expenditure and receipt treasurer; the suitability of the condition of goods/progress of work implementation, the amount, and quality of spending realization," he explained.

Adding, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DKI Jakarta Marullah Matali hopes that the budget that has been provided to be run by all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) can be absorbed well, proportionally, appropriately and on time.

"We want to see OPDs working as optimally as possible. There is still time for the absorption of the spending budget to be absorbed. I have asked to spur this as well as possible optimally," said Marullah.
