South Kalimantan Deputy Chief Of Police Affirms The Importance Of Youth's Role In Indonesia Gold 2045 At The Opening Of Pertikarada XI

HULU SUNGAI SELATAN - The younger generation is the key to achieving the big vision of Indonesia Gold 2045. This message was in the main spotlight in the remarks of South Kalimantan Deputy Chief of Police Brigadier General Pol Dr. Golkar Pangarso Rahardjo Winarsadi, SH, SIK, MH, while leading the Opening Ceremony of Pertikarada South Kalimantan XI 2024 at Stadium 2 December, Amalau Village, Sungai Raya District, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Monday 16 December. In the event, he read out the written remarks of South Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Rosyanto Yudha Hermawan, S.K., SH, MH, which emphasized the importance of youth contribution as agents of change in the midst of global challenges.

"The young generation is a new energy for the nation. Their creativity and innovation will accelerate Indonesia's progress," said Brigadier General Golkar Pangarso. He also highlighted the importance of using technology wisely so as not to damage the morale and character of the nation.

The ceremony, which was attended by the ranks of the Resort Police, Forkopimda, and Saka Bhayangkara participants from all over South Kalimantan, carried the theme 'BISA' (Berbakti, Inspirational, and Amanah). The theme is a guide to instilling heroic, disciplined, and integrity values to the younger generation.

"It means providing benefits to the community. Inspiration is to transmit a positive spirit, and the mandate is the basis for every action," he explained.

The South Kalimantan Police Chief also emphasized that the challenges of globalization and the digital era must be faced with strong character, creativity, and leadership values. "If you are not wise, technology that should be a tool of progress has the potential to damage the nation's morale," he said.

After the ceremony, the series of activities continued with planting trees, providing social assistance, and health services for the people of Hulu Sungai Selatan. This activity reflects Pramuka Saka Bhayangkara's commitment to serve the community, in line with the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation.

"What we are doing today is a tangible form of contribution to the community. We must continue to maintain this spirit," said Brigadier General Golkar Pangarso.

At the end of his remarks, the Kapolda through Brigadier General Golkar Pangarso left a message to the participants to continue to maintain integrity and not be affected by the bad effects from outside. "Be a brave person who is different and able to bring positive changes to Indonesia," he ordered.

Pertikarada Kalsel XI 2024 will take place in the next few days, presenting various coaching activities to strengthen the character of the younger generation of South Kalimantan.
